CNC Drilling & Precision Drilling
Dimensions-accurate drilling, consistent quality and reliable manufacturing: Albrecht produces precision-machined components for mechanical engineering, plant engineering and tank construction. Perfectly fitted. Time-saving. In full compliance with all tolerances and quality specifications.
CNC drilling & mechanical drilling operations
CNC drilling is a key process in our machining operations. Wherever precise through-holes, fitted holes, tapped holes or countersinks are required, our CNC technology ensures precise and repeatable results.
Whether it’s drilling for production runs or individual parts, large-format components or complex assemblies – we manufacture exactly to drawing requirements and technical specifications.
Dimensional and positional tolerances in accordance with drawing requirements and technical specifications.
Precision drilling with high repeatability
Machining of large components on a CNC drilling centre
In-house processing
Time-saving processes thanks to a constant supply of raw materials
Following CNC drilling, all further processing takes place directly at Albrecht. This includes milling, turning, press-braking and weld preparation, carried out either mechanically or manually.
Surface treatments such as grinding, blasting, painting or pickling are also carried out in-house. This results in components ready for assembly without the need for external contractors.
Holes are often functional interfaces – for example, for bolted joints, flanges, bearings or pressure-bearing components in mechanical and plant engineering.
On request, we can integrate your components directly into our manufacturing processes for apparatus and vessel construction, including certified welding work and documented quality assurance.
From raw material to the tested assembly, we provide an end-to-end industrial solution.
We undertake drilling work on steel, stainless steel and selected special materials. Thanks to our constant supply of raw materials, we can guarantee short lead times and a high degree of planning certainty, even for large-scale or last-minute projects.
Our CNC drilling centre enables precise and repeatable drilling operations, even on large components.
Integration into our state-of-the-art machinery enables efficient manufacturing processes, from blanking through to CNC drilling and milling, right through to welding and surface finishing.
End-to-end mechanical machining of components from a single source means: fewer interfaces, greater process reliability and cost-effective industrial drilling solutions.
Quality and Control
Our drilling operations are carried out in accordance with clearly defined quality standards. Particularly for safety-critical applications, we ensure documented inspection procedures and full traceability.
Complete production and inspection documentation can be provided for every project, such as material certificates or welding documentation.
FAQ
We machine components up to 5,500 mm horizontally, as well as up to 1,400 mm vertically and 1,000 mm across. This means our CNC drilling solutions are also suitable for large-scale structures in mechanical and plant engineering. Actual feasibility depends on the material, weight, geometry and clamping method. We would be happy to assess your drawing on a case-by-case basis to determine its technical feasibility.
We undertake the drilling of steel, stainless steel and selected special materials. These include unalloyed and alloyed steels, stainless steels such as 1.4301 or 1.4571, and duplex materials. The machining strategy is adapted to suit the specific material in order to optimise dimensional accuracy, surface quality and tool life – particularly for industrial applications in mechanical engineering and tank construction.
Yes. Through CNC-controlled machining, we achieve precise diameter and positional tolerances in accordance with the drawing specifications. Dimensional and visual inspections ensure compliance with the required specifications. Particularly in the case of function-critical hole patterns, flange connections or fitted bores, we guarantee reproducible results, both for individual parts and in series production.
Yes. In addition to standard through-holes and blind holes, we carry out countersinking, tapping and preparatory machining steps directly as part of the CNC process. This results in components that are ready for assembly without the need for additional external machining. This integration enhances process reliability, reduces interfaces and enables cost-effective drilling of both series-produced and individual parts within a coordinated production workflow.
Yes. At Albrecht, CNC drilling is fully integrated into the mechanical machining process. Components can then be milled, turned, chamfered or prepared for welding processes. Surface treatments such as shot blasting or pickling are also carried out in-house. This enables us to provide comprehensive industrial drilling solutions from a single source, without the need for external coordination.
Yes. Drilled components can be integrated directly into our manufacturing processes for plant and vessel construction. You benefit from certified welding work, documented quality assurance and full traceability, particularly when it comes to pressure-bearing components or complex assemblies. The combination of CNC drilling and vessel construction ensures maximum process reliability in industrial projects.
