Welding in plant and vessel construction
Reliable joints, tested quality and workmanship that complies with standards: when it comes to welding, Albrecht stands for the highest level of process reliability and certified production. Precise fit. Time-saving. In full compliance with all standards and quality requirements.
Welding in the manufacture of vessels and equipment
The welding of metallic materials is one of Albrecht’s core areas of expertise. Whether TIG welding, MIG/MAG welding, electrode welding, submerged arc welding or orbital welding – we manufacture welded structures, vessels and much more to drawing specifications for demanding applications.
Our welding technology is designed for safety-critical components and meets the most stringent regulatory requirements.
We weld steel structures, pipework and sheet metal components, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks and much more.
Certified welding in accordance with DIN EN 1090
Manufactured in accordance with AD 2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
Approved welding procedures and qualified personnel
High process reliability for safety-critical components
Welding is fully integrated into our manufacturing process. Components are prepared, welded, machined, inspected and, where necessary, blasted, pickled or painted in-house.
Through a combination of cutting processes, press braking, milling, drilling and surface treatment, complete assemblies are produced without the need for external interfaces – efficiently and with process reliability.
The highest standards apply to documentation, procedures and qualifications, particularly when welding pressure vessels.
Our welding work is carried out in accordance with applicable standards such as DIN EN 1090, AD 2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.
From tubular and sheet metal components to complex welded structures in plant engineering, we guarantee compliance with standards and full traceability.
We weld unalloyed and alloyed steels, stainless steel and selected special materials.
Thanks to our high level of vertical integration, we are also able to manufacture, inspect and further process large-format vessel segments, cones, pipe sections and complex structures in-house.
Our welding technology encompasses certified TIG, MIG and MAG processes for steel and stainless steel structures.
Certified welding processes and trained specialist staff ensure consistent results, from individual components right through to series production in mechanical and plant engineering.
Integration into our overall manufacturing process ensures efficient workflows and maximum quality assurance.
Quality and Control
The quality of our welding work is ensured by defined inspection procedures and documented processes.
Certified welding in accordance with DIN EN 1090 and other applicable standards.
Complete manufacturing and testing documentation can be provided for each project, such as material certificates or welding documentation.
FAQ
Depending on the material and requirements, we use TIG, MIG and MAG welding processes. Particularly when TIG welding stainless steel, we ensure clean, precise welds for pressure-bearing or visually demanding applications. The choice of process is made on a project-by-project basis in accordance with technical specifications.
Yes. The welding of pressure vessels is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations such as AD 2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. Qualified personnel, approved procedures and documented processes ensure that the work is carried out safely and in compliance with the relevant standards.
