Always treat others as equals
On a personal note, in July we had to say goodbye to our senior partner and my father, Georg Albrecht-Früh, who passed away at the age of 103.
It was particularly important to him to treat others as equals. When he was 17, his father passed away and he took over the Albrecht company – which had been in existence since 1634 – together with his mother. For over 60 years, he led the company with trust in God, courage, determination and the aforementioned consideration for others.
In the current climate, this concern for others and this spirit of mutual support – whether in our private lives or at work, within the company, with our suppliers and our customers – is perhaps more important than ever.
I look forward to continuing to bring these thoughts and attitudes to life in his spirit, by looking to the future with optimism and in a spirit of goodwill towards one another, and shaping it together.
