Albrecht Edelstahl received another interesting commission involving the complete manufacture and subsequent X-ray inspection of a measuring tube for a petrochemical plant (underground water pipeline).
Heavy-duty production.
With a length of 9,500 mm, a maximum diameter of 2,800 mm and a total weight of 10 tonnes, this was a genuine heavyweight to produce. The length tolerance achieved was 1.5 mm over the total length, demonstrating Albrecht Edelstahl’s very high manufacturing precision.
As a heavy-lift consignment, including seaworthy packaging, the finished measuring pipe then set sail for Abu Dhabi.
